Sunshine Nursery School - Co-op Responsibilities
CO-OP  RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Sunshine parent, it is required that you help with one extracurricular activity.  
Please sign up for an activity and return
this form to the office.

(When paper goods or entertainment is required- the school will cover the cost.)


___ Parent Chairperson: Post monthly parent help schedule on bulletin board,
collecting monies from parents for fair baskets, teacher appreciation, and teacher
gifts; make fair basket; lead in phone chain—(need two or three parents per
classroom) Classroom________________________________________

2.  ___ August Clean-up- Monday, August 28, 2006 at 10:00 AM. (need 10 helpers)    
Wash classroom windows, chairs, tables, cubbies, walls, etc. Please arrange for own
child care.

3.  ___   First Parent Meeting- September 7- 10:00 AM. (need 5 helpers) Set-up
for meeting- chairs and several tables, purchase a simple snack, and have ready for
7:00 PM. meeting.

4. ___  Get-Acquainted Coffees- (need 6 helpers) (2) Wednesday, September 20-
8:45 AM. and (2) Thursday, September 21- 8:45 AM. and (2) 12:00 PM.- Set up, get
food donated, hostess, get paper goods and clean-up.

5__  Pot Luck Supper- (need 5 helpers) October 5th- 6:00 – 7:30 PM. Set-up
vestry, purchase paper goods, acquire table decorations.

6. ___ Silent Auction (bi- or tri-annually) - (need 20 helpers) Late October- Help
coordinate event, acquire space, create program, get donations, direct volunteers,
sell tickets.

7. ___  Sally Foster- (need 8 helpers)- On delivery day, Thursday, November 16th
–  help bring orders from delivery truck to the Pierce Room in the church.

8. ___ Pizza Party-(need 10 helpers)- November- Set-up, order pizza, purchase
paper goods, and clean-up.

9.___  School Fair- (20 helpers) March 30th- Set-up and March 31st- the Fair-
Organize, schedule parent workshops, set-up the fair on Friday, get parents chairs
to encourage parents to work at the fair for one hour, set-up maze – (Dads),
acquire boxes at Wolcott (Bedford) and clean-up. (Hopefully all families will
participate!)

10.___ WOYC Breakfast: ( 8 helpers) First week of May – Set-up tables and chairs
the afternoon before- cover tables, get centerpieces, get food donations,
(teachers will make pancakes)

11___  Teacher Appreciation Breakfast- ( Need five helpers) Week of May 7th

11th- Set-up, purchase food and paper goods, clean-up.
