Sunshine Nursery School - History and Philosophy

Sunshine Nursery School, Inc. has been licensed by The Department of Early
Childhood Education (EEC) since June of 1957 and opened its doors in
September that year. The school has been accredited by the National
Association for the Education of Young Children since 1992 (IMPORTANT
UPDATE TO THIS INFORMATION HERE...).
Sunshine Nursery School is proud of its philosophy and tradition of educating
the whole child with emphasis on nurturing each child's self esteem and
promoting social development.
As a semi-cooperative preschool, Sunshine knows a child's school experience
is greatly enhanced when parents participate. Each Sunshine family is
required to assist in their child's classroom a few times each school year.
This not only makes a very special day for the child, but also gives parents
the opportunity to observe their child "in action" at school. MORE...
